The Guitar Society of Brantford is pleased to offer four community ensembles.  Each ensemble is designed for players of differing technical, musical and reading abilities and are perfect for those just beginning to study, as a supplement for those taking private lessons, and as a place for aficionados to meet new friends and perform a couple times a year.  If you enjoy playing classical guitar and would like to make music with others, then the community ensembles are for you! JOHN DOWLAND ENSEMBLE

The John Dowland ensemble is for complete beginners of any age and is ideal for parents and children, teens, or for life-long learners.  This ensemble performs at Christmas and spring recitals, and at the Kiwanis Music Festival in April.
Mondays: 6:00 - 6:45 pm.                                                                                                               

Location: TBA                                                                                                                             

Fee: $40.00 per month. 

GASPAR SANZ ENSEMBLE

A continuation of the John Dowland Ensemble (first year of study), the focus of this ensemble is on players who can read music in first position and who are looking to enjoy playing with others.  This ensemble performs at Christmas and Spring recitals, the Kiwanis Music Festival, and the contemporary showcase.                                                                                     

Mondays: 7:00-745

Fee: $40.00 per month. 

MAURO GIULIANI ENSEMBLE

This ensemble is designed for intermediate players who have been playing for a few years. The ensemble performs at Christmas and spring recitals, the Kiwanis Music Festival and the Contemporary showcase.

Sundays, bi-weekly, 6-6:45 pm.
Location: 42 Sky Acres Dr.                                                                                                                                                  FEE: $90 per semester (2 semesters per year: Sept to Dec - January to May, 12 rehearsals in total)

 FRANCISCO TARREGA ENSEMBLE

The Guitar Society of Brantford's sleek performance ensemble! Meant for advanced players who wish to rehearse and perform regularly.  This ensemble performs at Christmas and spring recitals, the Kiwanis Music Festival and the Contemporary Showcase.                                                                                                        

Sundays, Bi-weekly 7-7:50 pm.                                                                                                                

Location: 42 Sky Acres Dr. Brantford
FEE: $90 per semester (2 semesters per year: Sept to Dec, January to May 12 rehearsals in total)
